So. You guys presumably know how utterly polarizing the latest Class of '09 game (The Flip Side) is. You guys also presumably know the downright creepy content in certain routes are (we do NOT talk about some of those endings).

Well, I, alongside @ambie07_ and others, am currently part of a project: a fangame intending to give Jecka and her friends the endings they all deserve.

Introducing: Class of '09: The Rewrite!

The Rewrite, also known as Project Flipside, is a total writing overhaul of The Flip Side, to introduce new stories in Jecka's life beyond high school, and build upon concepts explored in the previous two games. However, it also retains the simple-but-consequential, pick-up-and-play multiple choice style of the series proper. Any player, regardless of having played the past two games, can enjoy The Rewrite!

You won't need to purchase The Flip Side to play this project - due to how Ren'Py (the game engine for all of the Class of '09 games, as well as other famous visual novels like Doki Doki Literature Club!, and Hiveswap Friendsim) works, we'll be able to distribute this game free of charge!

hi! i'm doing my best. i'm trying to get involved in collabs, and gearing up for drawing stuff for the halloween thing coming up. no i still haven't learned flash (im trying to find the best copy/version and best way to learn it), and no i'm still not ready to take commissions (need to get a cashapp opened, work to open a bank account, albeit in my deadname, and finalize prices).

my work isn't the best, and my social life/mental health is kinda garbage (P, i'm still so sorry) but the newgrounds news section isn't my soapbox for that kinda stuff.

so yeah. surely youve noticed my sharp downturn in art output, lol. truth be told its mostly cause work is kicking up again and i gotta focus on that. ive also been figuring out and trying to stabilize my mental health (which i wont go into detail here) and thats difficult too. oh yeah maybe i should start speedpainting or arranging to finally open commissions...

i promise i'm not quitting art (again), i'm gonna try to power through the fall and winter by getting into flash animation (for real this time) and working on event art (halloween stuff, ya know? also anniversaries and moar fanart for things i like.

i'm ALSO also wanting to get into vocaloid production but i dont have the money nor the patience with the tuning software. or the songwriting capabilities, lol

ive made a lot of friends on this site already and i infinitely prefer it to twitter and insta...the horrors....
